Brad Rickard

Brad grew up playing high school hockey, soccer and basketball in eastern Ontario, Canada. Brad has been coaching youth sports since 2014 and strives to find ways to i) build rapport with athletes as individuals and ii) support the development of team play. 

He went to university in Ontario on an academic scholarship and then completed his Ph.D in economics at the University of California. He started his professional career as a professor at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where he served as a faculty advisor to the men’s varsity soccer team. Since 2008 has been a professor in the business school at Cornell University teaching classes and conducting research related to the food industry.
